Mr. Mukunda Subedi

(Chief Executive Officer)

Mr. Mukunda Subedi is a seasoned Chartered Accountant and accomplished banking professional with over 20 years of leadership experience in Nepal’s financial sector. Currently, he is the Chief Executive Officer at Banking Finance and Insurance Institute of Nepal Limited. He has held pivotal roles including Chief Operating Officer, Chief Risk Officer, and Head of Internal Audit at leading banks such as Kumari Bank, Nepal Credit and Commerce Bank, Prabhu Bank, and Lumbini Bank.

With extensive expertise in strategic management, risk governance, human resource development, and digital banking, Mr. Subedi has successfully led organizational transformation initiatives, strengthened compliance frameworks, and enhanced operational efficiency. His specialization includes credit risk management, treasury operations, financial planning, and corporate governance.

Beyond executive leadership, he has served as a partner at M.S.S.B Associates, Chartered Accountants, and as an Ex-Director of First Microfinance Development Bank Ltd. He actively contributes to professional committees, shaping banking policies, audit practices, and digital transformation initiatives.

An MBA in Finance and a Chartered Accountant, Mr. Subedi has also received international training across the USA, Europe, Australia, and Asia, bringing a global perspective to banking and financial management.

Mr. Sujan Subedi

(Deputy Chief Executive Officer)

Mr. Subedi serves as Deputy CEO at BFIN. Prior to joining BFIN, he has worked in the Banking Industry for 24 years in different commercial and development banks of Nepal. He has experience working in a wide range of banking functions including credit, trade finance, credit risk, and other important areas of banking operation. Besides banking, he is a regular visiting faculty in business schools under different reputed universities of Nepal and Malaysia and a Banking Trainer and Freelance Consultant.
He holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Saint Louis University of The Philippines. He has also attended various training and seminars in Nepal, India, the Philippines, Malaysia, and Japan. He is a member of the Management Association of Nepal (MAN) and other Institutions.

Ms. Rajju Mulmi

(Business Development Manager)

Ms. Mulmi serves as a Business Development Manager at BFIN. Prior to join BFIN she has got 9 years of experience in the field of Human Resource, operation, Business Development and communication. Currently she is involved in developing plans, programs, strategies for sales and marketing of products and services of BFIN and also responsible for planning and implementation of all the activities related to recruitment, training and business development department.
She is graduated in Masters in Media Technology from Purbanchal University and Diploma in Architecture from Tribhuvan University. She had also attained in the conference “ SHRM India Annual Conference & Exposition 2016” in New Delhi, India. She is a member of Management Association of Nepal (MAN).

Mr. Kabiraj Niroula

(Business Development Officer)

Mr. Kabiraj Niroula, Business Development Officer at BFIN, is a seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience in sales, marketing, and professional development. His career includes key roles such as Senior Relationship Manager at Skill Best Training & Consultancy and Data Entry Head at Softech Foundation, a sister organization of Ncell. He also served as Chief Executive Officer at Money Mahal Multipurpose Cooperative Ltd. A researcher, author, and L&D expert, Mr. Niroula is recognized for his strategic planning, communication skills, and expertise in designing impactful training and development content.

Ms. Rakshya Bhetuwal

Ms. Rakshya Bhetuwal is currently serving as the International Program Officer at the Banking Finance and Insurance Institute of Nepal (BFIN). She holds an MBA from the School of Management, Tribhuvan University. With a background in financial management, Ms. Bhetuwal brings a unique blend of skills and expertise to her role. Her passion lies in creating opportunities for cross-cultural understanding and fostering collaboration on an international scale. Ms. Bhetuwal's enthusiasm and innovative mindset, coupled with her extensive experience, is instrumental in furthering BFIN’s mission to cultivate a more interconnected world.

Mr. Samir DC

(Finance And Administration Officer)

Mr. Samir D.C. is a finance professional with expertise in banking, finance, and accounting. Currently serving as the Finance and Administration Officer at BFIN, he has extensive experience in accounts, financial reporting, and tax management. With a background in senior accounting roles at organizations like Reliance Group Nepal and Indreni Foodland. He has also worked at Nepal Bangladesh Bank, Credit Department. Samir brings a wealth of knowledge in trade finance. He holds MBA and BBA degree, both attained with full scholarships. Additionally, he has published three finance-related articles in renowned journals.

Ms. Rajina Khadka

(Business Development Officer)

Ms. Khadka works as a Business Development Officer at BFIN. Prior to joining BFIN, she worked at Samsung India Electronics Pvt. Ltd as a Marketing officer. She holds a MBA Degree specialization in Marketing from Kathmandu University School of Management (KUSOM). She was a member of United States Youth Council for the year 2018-2019 and has been involved in various other projects and activities. Ms. Khadka has also represented Nepal at International Sports Event (EXSPO) organized by City Montessori School, Lucknow India in 2012.

Ms. Ritika Kharel

Ms. Ritika Kharel is the Business Development Officer at BFIN. She is currently pursuing her MPhil in Marketing at Kathmandu University. Before joining BFIN, she worked as a Consultant at Shark Tank Nepal on Himalaya Television, where she contributed her expertise in strategy and communications.

Beyond her professional journey, Ritika has been recognized for her versatility and achievements. She was crowned Miss Teen Nepal 2014 and honored with the Global Emerging Women Journalist Award in 2020, reflecting her impactful presence in both media and leadership spaces.

Ms. Thapa serves as a Program Coordinator at BFIN with experience and management ability. She holds a degree from Tribhuwan University (TU) in the field of Finance and Management. Previously, she has experience working in the field of Customer Relation Officer (CRO) at Prabisha Trading. She coordinates various Domestic Programs, International Programs and Conferences.

She was also awarded by the Birla Institute of Management Technology (BIMTECH), Delhi, Greater Noida and Mewar University, Chhitorgarh, Rajasthan for organizing the programs for her excellent Leadership and Management.
